MUSIC

I am really interested in music... I love reading about it, collecting it, sharing it, and most of all, listening to it!

Rock, Pop, Soul, Alternative, Metal, Ska, Reggae, Punk, Funk, Rap, Hindi Remix, and Hip-Hop all figure into my rather diverse tastes. I find it difficult to codify exactly what I like, so I'll just go over what I am not particularly interested in. I am not a huge fan of country, gospel, or classical, though they are styles that have influenced some of my favorite artists. I am exploring my interests in jazz, but don't consider myself a fan just yet. Then again, my definition of "fan" is often closer to most people's definition of "fanatic"!

My Top Ten Singles of 1999


The compact disc is my choice of format, and I buy WAY too many. As such, I am always looking for a good deal. I have been in and out of the music clubs, which are a pretty good deal, but their selections are kind of limited (they carry only big labels). Still, I often visit the independently maintained CDClub Web Server, which is an excellent site for getting the real low-down on the clubs and getting a hold of catalog numbers.

I truly enjoy all the music I own, so its really impossible for me to make a list of favorites. The list would be changing all the time! Instead of presenting a static list, I have made a page of links to some of my favorite artist homepages!
